Saturday Morning Hangover 1-24 Espisode

This week we talk to original N Crowd member, Mike Connor for the podcast.   Right out of the gate, Mike turns the entire podcast on it's head by... well.. interviewing B.J. Ellis who was suppose to be interviewing him.  It wasn't exactly Frost/Nixon, but it was also quite revealing.

After that exchange we talk to Mike about how he got started in The N Crowd, why he does it, and why he enjoys it.  All were answered with horrible vagueness.   Then we talk about how the Hopper Brothers got started and where the inspiration was for that.

Finally we have probably the conversation of the century... we talk about Math.  Wow. Pretty exciting huh?

Finally, Martin Hopper stops by and sings for us his favorite song wrapping up the entire podcast.

Oh yea, Brandon also wanders on through several times as well.

Saturday Morning Hangover 1-17 Episode

In this episode, The N Crowd Saturday Morning hangover gets its first official sponsor:  Jekin McJekin's Squirrel Whisky.  It's as good as it sounds.  Yum.  Squirrel Whiskey.    After that brief liquor related commercial, Nick, Rob, and Milkshake join B.J. on the Hangover for a third straight week of discussions.  First, Nick talks about a new improv project he is working on:  A podcast based "Bat" performance.   A "Bat" is an improv show done like a radio show.  Nick and B.J. discuss various technical challenges related to this project.

On a technology related note, Nick and B.J. then discuss briefly an iPhone and a Blackberry and how quickly they can make dicks out of people.  B.J. then shares a neat piece of Internet technology called Grand Central.  After which, Nick and Milkshake illustrate the dangers of this Internet phone service.  B.J. laments how annoying it is to get phone calls from people who have done no research regarding the improv show.

We find out that Milkshake tends to hoard things... (And maybe even Rob.)

Finally, Milkshake hijacks the show and holds everyone hostage as he tries to justify why it is okay not wanting to own property but rather just live out of hotels.  Neither Rob or Nick really agree with him on his statements.   B.J. ends up making an analogy that is undeniably the worst analogy he has ever made. (He usually makes good ones.)

Milkshakes eventually releases the hostages.

Saturday Morning Hangover 1-10 Episode

Rob, Milkshake, and Nick join The Hangover for another week of conversation.  This week, B.J. discusses why he hates Tyler Perry and every single movie he makes.... but has no problem with George Foreman and the products he makes.   He also discusses The N Crowd's New Years Eve show on December 31st of last year which leads the entire gang to test out a great discovery:  A Steam to Ice Cube Machine.  Think it's impossible, well this audio proves it isn't.

Milkeshake then squelches up a discussion about the Israeli military.  Do you know who the Druze are?   No one else does either apparently.  But everyone does know apparently about the French Foreign Legion.

Finally Milkshake gives us an update on the Rock-u-bator.

All in all, a very productive 20-some minutes.

Thanks and hope you enjoy the show!

Saturday Morning Hangover 1/3 Episode

Welcome to 2009! The Saturday Morning Hangover has returned after a month hiatus! This episode we return to Milkeshake's kitchen with special guests Nick Gillette and Rob Cutler. Amongst hand made waffles from Milkshake we talk about Honest Assholes and why Sean Connery turned down Lord of the Rings.

Did you know that the Israel air force can legally bomb waffle houses? (As in houses made of waffles?) And you thought you only had to worry about hungry German Children running around huh?

Also we talk about background checks and the awesomeness of the Swiss Military. 2009 is going to be a fun year of podcasts! Enjoy!
